About Larry Freed

 I’ve had an unusual career. Over the years, I’ve been a ship captain, business owner, technology executive, project and program leader, systems engineer, consultant, executive coach, and now Senior Advisor. Each role has given me a different perspective on how people lead, make decisions, deal with uncertainty, work through challenges, and create things that matter.

I founded NuView in 1999. What began primarily as leadership and organizational work has continued to evolve as I have. Today, I work with leaders, teams, business owners, and individuals navigating important situations in their work and lives. Many of those relationships have continued for years as new challenges, opportunities, and chapters emerge.

One lesson has followed me through every stage of my life and career: real growth happens in real life.

The challenges and opportunities we encounter often reveal what needs attention, what may need to change, what we’re capable of, and what matters most now.

What I enjoy most is sitting down with someone, understanding what’s really going on, and helping them see the situation more clearly. We begin with the real situation and work from there.

I especially enjoy working with people who are curious, thoughtful, and open to learning and growth. Every person, organization, and situation is different, and that’s what continues to make this work interesting to me after more than 25 years.
